G. Temte is een Amerikaan uit Boston, die sinds 20 jaar in Duitsland woont, wisselend in Heidelberg, Cologne of Berlijn. Hij is erg onrustig en continue in beweging wat als gevolg heeft dat hij zichzelf niet alleen maar aan één onderwerp wil binden. Schrijven is zijn passie, direct gevolgd door schilderen. Zijn schilderijen gaan de hele wereld over en zijn erg populair. Hij werkt alleen met de beste materialen. Zijn werk ontwikkelt zich zonder duidelijke definities, het resultaat hiervan is de symbiose van de materialen met haar eigen bestaan en de stemming waar hij op dat moment in is.
